Team access and bulk ordering for a B2B prepaid platform
For IDT Corporation, we designed multi-user accounts and high-volume ordering for zendit, a single API that lets businesses sell mobile top-ups, gift cards, eSIMs and utility payments worldwide.
The challenge
zendit’s enterprise clients shared one login across whole teams, and placed large eSIM orders one at a time.
We joined during active development. Requirements described goals rather than specs, so defining flows, edge cases and components was part of the job. There were no existing patterns for access control or bulk operations, and every new pattern had to extend zendit’s Ant Design-based system as reusable, branded components.
Our role
A year working directly with zendit’s product managers and engineers, mapping interactions and shipping production-ready flows.
- Multi-user accounts and permissions
- Bulk ordering and failure handling
- New components for the design system
Multi-user accounts
Owners invite their team and decide what each person can reach.
As client teams grew, one shared login became a security problem. We designed a user administration area where account owners invite people and set their permissions.
- Permissions in the list. Owners can update several people in a row without leaving the list.
- Ownership transfer. The account stays with the company when its owner leaves.
- Deactivate or delete. Owners choose based on the person’s status in the organisation.
Bulk ordering
One order, thousands of eSIMs, and a clear answer for every one that fails.
We designed a Bulk Order tab in the client account. An order takes an offer ID and a quantity, then results split into successful and failed transactions, with a downloadable results file and refunds available from there.
- Balance up front. Clients see whether their wallet covers the order before it starts.
- Failures in place. Each failed transaction opens inside the order and shows why it failed.
What we’d measure next
How often bulk orders contain failed items, and how many teammates clients add once they can.
The engagement covered more features than these two. With no predefined flows or UI direction, the work meant mapping interactions, extending the design system and shipping flows engineers could build straight away.
